Kids Love Climbing
The Spot Golden’s youth programs focus on establishing a passion for the sport of rock climbing and fostering an environment that promotes lifelong climbers. If your kid is new to climbing and wants to build confidence, start with our climbing camps and clubs. If your kid is ready to take their climbing to the next level and start competing, check out The Spot Team. Have a birthday coming up? We work with families to create unique and exciting parties that are filled with challenge, fun, and accomplishment.

Climbing Camps
Our climbing camps have everything your child needs to stay active and engaged. Campers will build climbing skills, confidence and friendships while participating in arts and crafts projects, team building activities, and everything that makes camps so memorable.
Gravity Academy
Gravity Academy meets every week and focuses on the basics of movement and essential technique through games, activities, drills and group work. Through Gravity Academy, your child will be a part of a passionate, motivating and supportive community of friends.
Club
Designed to build on the fundamentals learned in our Gravity Academy programs. Club is the best choice for your climber after they’ve graduated from Gravity Academy, whether they’re working towards our competitive team program or would rather progress in a recreational setting.
The Spot Team
The Spot Team has everything your athlete needs to take their climbing to the next level. Our expert coaches will guide them through USA Climbing competitions, skill drills, outdoor trips, and more to build strong bodies and healthy minds. The team is a supportive environment, with custom practices tailored to different skill levels and ages.
Birthday Parties
Birthday Parties at The Spot are full of climbing fun, laughter and energy. There’s no better way to celebrate your birthday than playing and climbing together with your friends. We work with families to create unique and exciting parties that are filled with challenge, fun, and accomplishment. Includes 2 hours of climbing fun.

How old does my kid have to be to climb at The Spot?
All ages are welcome to climb at The Spot. Youth rates apply to climbers aged 5 and under. Student rates apply to climbers aged 6-17.
How old does my kid have to be to join a climbing club or camp?
Clubs and camps are available for climbers aged 6 and older at Boulder, Denver, and Golden. We offer programs for kids as young as 2.5 at our Louisville location.
How old does my kid have to be to join The Spot Team?
The Spot Team is available for climbers aged 8 and older.
How old does my kid have to be to have their birthday party at The Spot?
Birthday parties are available for climbers ages 6 and older at The Spot Boulder, The Spot Denver, and The Spot Golden. Birthday parties are available for all ages at The Spot Louisville.
What if I can’t afford youth programs?
If our normal prices are out of reach, we encourage you to apply for a Climbing Scholarship.
