STUFF YOU NEED TO KNOW

Our iconic black-light competition, PSYCHEDELIA, is back on Saturday, October 24th, 2026!!! This year’s theme is Wild West Glowdown! Come dressed to impress and send the wacky boulders the setting team will be putting together just for you. This competition is black-light only, so be prepared with an on-theme costume that can glow!

Come dressed to impress, but please leave any costume accessories that could be mistaken for weapons, or create a tripping or falling hazard, at home. Safety first, costumes second. What glows and doesn’t? Learn what materials glow here. Want inspiration? Check our Pinterest here.

To attend as a competitor or spectator in the adult wave you must be 15 years or older.

To qualify for finals you must compete in the adult wave and be 15 years or older.

Backpacks will not be allowed in the gym during the event. Please only bring necessary items to climb and leave your bags and backpacks at home or in your car.

Day-of sign ups will be available IF we have not sold out. To be guaranteed entrance, please buy your ticket ahead of time.

To qualify for finals you must compete in the adult wave and be 15 years or older.

YOUTH WAVE SCHEDULE

11:00 am – Check-in and doors open
11:45 am – Rules meeting
12:00 pm – Climbing starts
3:00 pm – Climbing ends
3:30 pm – Raffle (outside)
Everyone must be outside of the gym by 3:30-4:00 pm, thank you!

YOUTH WAVE TICKETS

All youth competitors get one spectator ticket, and one raffle ticket (members get two raffle tickets). Extra raffle tickets are three for $5. All competitors and spectators get a meal ticket.

10:00 pm – Finals followed with podiums

EVENT HELPERS EARN PASSES

We can’t do Psychedelia without your help! We’re seeking event helpers for several exciting roles: tape artists, facilities aids, hold washers, comp day aids, and post-comp breakdown help. Don’t fret—you won’t be empty-handed! In return for your time and energy, we’ve got something special lined up for you.

4 hours = free entry to comp
8 hours = free entry to comp, and a 3 punch pass
12 hours = free entry to comp and 1 month of free membership
Shifts day-of competition = 1 month of free membership
Oct 26 shifts = 5 punch day pass
