The Spot Golden’s climbing classes will help you to take your climbing skills to new heights! Our experienced instructors are dedicated to helping climbers of all levels achieve their goals and have fun while doing it. With multiple levels of classes available, there’s something for everyone, from beginners who are just getting started to experienced climbers looking to refine their technique and take their climbing to the next level.

All Intro Classes are now free with any valid entry to the gym! Sign up for your class online, then purchase a day pass or enter with a member guest pass when you arrive at the gym.

Private Intro Lessons
Want to start climbing but don’t know where to start? Join a Private Intro Lesson with one of our expert coaches! You’ll learn how to fall safely and gain fundamental climbing techniques.

Intro to Bouldering
$29 for members | $39 for not-yet-members
This class will teach you the essentials for indoor climbing. You’ll learn how to fall safely, how to warm up effectively, and how to use basic climbing techniques. Walk into your future climbing sessions feeling confident.
Beginner + Bouldering
29 for members| $39 for not-yet-members
This second class in our introductory bouldering curriculum dives further into foundational climbing techniques. We’ll cover the importance of body positioning, how to incorporate breathing into your climbing routine, climbing exercises for those starting to push through the 3 Spot (V2 / V3) range, and more.
Intermediate Bouldering
$59 for members | $69 for not-yet-members
Take your next step with us by learning the skills and techniques necessary to climb your first 4- Spot (V4/V5). During this time, we will build on the fundamentals, and you will learn how to expand the basics to keep progressing through harder climbs.
