Eldo
Commonly known in the climbing community as “Eldo”, this iconic climbing destination offers a wide variety of moderate traditional rock climbing within minutes of Boulder. Routes range from single pitch Grade I up to 6 pitch Grade III all day adventures. The climbing can vary from face, slab, and crack. Climbing in Eldo is truly a right of passage for many recreational climbers. Some of our guides favorite Eldo routes include:

Flatirons
Climbing these legendary formations is the best way to see the Boulder Area. The Direct East Face of the First Flatiron (III 5.6) is listed as one of the 50 Classic Climbs of North America for good reason. Stunning positions, moderate climbing, and a little bit of adventure make this the best beginner multi-pitch rock climb in the United States. The Flatirons often involve scenic approaches through evergreens, summits worth bringing a good camera, and fun free hanging rappels. Our guides favorite Flatiron adventures include:

Boulder Canyon
Only minutes from downtown Boulder, Boulder Canyon offers a wide variety of climbing on granite. While often known for it’s world class sport routes, it also offers a lot of moderate traditional routes. Most routes overlook Boulder Creek and some even require a tyrolean traverse over the creek to reach the crag. Our guides favorite Boulder Canyon adventures include:
